Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Saturday and Sunday March 13 & 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday March 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held in St. Josephs Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Vesta Thrasher of Bethesda; three children, Paul Thrasher III of Washington, Lawrence Thrasher of Safford, Ariz., and Penelope Thrasher of Skokie, Ill.; and five grandchildren. She would happily play for anyone that asked and even played at Carnegie Hall in New York City. He was president of metropolitan Washington and Maryland chapters of the 8th Air Force Historical Society and a member of the E Streeters club of retired Post employees.
